In this class you will learn the fundamentals of movement and posture, as well as a short Qi Gong form to practise at home and the start of a short Tai Chi Yang Form. These styles are a series of slow, fluid movements accompanied by controlled breathing and mindfulness. It is like "meditation in motion" as you focus on the mind-body connection and promote a state of relaxation and calm. Well-established benefits of regular practise include: Improved balance Improved flexibility, and strength Improved cardiovascular health Improved focus and concentration Stronger immune system Reduced inflammation Reduced stress, anxiety, and depression.
